Terms of Participation | MOLOCH

I.Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and possess the mental fortitude to face the trials ahead.

Each participant may register only one account. Multiple accounts will result in immediate and permanent elimination from all associated profiles.

II.The Competition Structure

MOLOCH spans 24 weeks, with one cryptographic puzzle released each week. Puzzles are released every Monday at 00:00 UTC and must be solved by Sunday at 23:59 UTC.

Each puzzle is personalized using your unique account seed. Sharing solutions is futile—your answer will not work for others.

Participants who fail to submit the correct answer within the allotted time will be eliminated unless they choose to invoke the Rebuy Protocol.

III.The Grand Prize

The grand prize of 100.000 EUR shall be awarded to the participant(s) who successfully solve the final riddle of Week 24.

Single Victor: If only one participant solves the final riddle, they shall receive the full prize of 100.000 EUR.

Multiple Victors: If multiple participants solve the final riddle, the prize shall be divided equally among all victorious participants. For example, if 4 participants solve the final riddle, each shall receive 25.000 EUR.

Tax Liability:All prize winnings are subject to applicable local, state, and national taxes in the winner's jurisdiction of residence. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due on their winnings. MOLOCH will provide necessary tax documentation as required by law.

Prize distribution will occur within 30 days of the competition's conclusion, pending identity verification and tax documentation completion.

IV.The Weekly Challenge & Rebuy Protocol

Weekly Attempts: Each week, participants may fail up to 3 times without consequence. On the 4th failure, the participant is eliminated from the competition.

Rebuy Mechanics: Upon elimination, participants may purchase a rebuy for €5 EUR to rejoin the competition. The rebuy resets your failure count for the current week, allowing you to continue attempting the puzzle.

Rebuy Limits: Each participant is permitted a maximum of three (3) rebuys throughout the entire competition. Use them wisely.

Critical Notice: The Rebuy Protocol is completely disabled during the final four weeks (Weeks 21-24). Elimination during this period is absolute and irreversible. No exceptions.

Rebuy payments are non-refundable. By purchasing a rebuy, you acknowledge this condition.

V.Prohibited Conduct

†Sharing puzzle content, solutions, or methodologies with other participants
†Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to solve puzzles
†Attempting to reverse-engineer the personalization algorithm
†Exploiting technical vulnerabilities in the platform
†Creating multiple accounts or impersonating other participants

Violation of these rules results in immediate elimination without the possibility of rebuy.

VI.Data & Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate the competition: email address, display alias, and puzzle interaction data.

Your public alias will appear on the leaderboard. Your email and personal information remain confidential.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.

VII.Disclaimer

MOLOCH is a game of intellect and perseverance. While we strive for fairness and technical reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the absence of errors.

Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or psychological effects resulting from participation in the competition.

VIII.Acceptance

By creating an account and participating in MOLOCH, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
